This time around, Mouse is the only one that manages to turn herself in. (Not without Rat's own brand of help, of course.) She's bounced between a couple "Mouse-sitters" before Leon ends up being the agent she's paired with most of the time. He thinks she's quiet at first (and maybe a little odd, since she can make him extra explosives out of nearly anything, so long as she paints a smiley face on the outside), but she does warm up to him easier than some of the others.
She only starts dying her hair bangs like a teal color once her bosses give her enough freedom to start going out for not-work-related things on her own. In her mind, it's just enough to annoy them a little, but not that they'd bother getting her in any real trouble. It's a small way of making her nickname her own ― becoming her own brand of Mouse. c:
INFAMOUS: SECOND SON
Former small-town conduit, now running a combo ice cream joint and bookstore with help from her brother. Technically, it was his idea to leave town after her powers started showing, since he was planning to leave for college anyway, so they got an apartment together in Seattle. It's not much, but it's home away from home.

ㅤㅤThe conversation paused, Bigby watching her expectantly as she scratched and sighed in relief as the itch subsided.

ㅤㅤ"Uh...that was all. I dunno why I added the 'but' there." She giggled sheepishly, a light blush brightening her face. "My bad."

Working for Hyperion wasn't exactly ideal, but when one of the largest corporations this side of Eden-6 is hiring and you have student loans to pay off, you don't ask many questions.On the plus side, the sheer number of employees will make it much easier to fade in to the background. And the position you're accepted in to is in the archives, where there usually isn't a ton of people? It almost sounds perfect.It took a bit of adjusting, but now she can read about loader-bots taking down multiple bandit camps in a few hours without feeling too sick.The pay's good, and the coworkers are alright ― at least down here, where nobody really intends on climbing the corporate hierarchy. It's almost like Hyperion stuck all its introverts in the archives and left them there.
The important part is that they remember payday when it rolls around, so she can eventually leave and help preserve the history of a place that's a bit less... murdery.

The idea was to eventually leave Hyperion and retire to a library somewhere, but when did anything go according to plan on Pandora? Sometimes you just godda roll with the punches... even when the "punches" are "escaping the wreckage of your former workplace," "almost losing your boyfriend in a vault," and "helping him rebuild a corporation from essentially the ground up while neither of you really have a clue what you're doing."His new office is basically a library, though. And he's promised to help her make the perfect one once they get to Promethia. A whole new planet, a new adventure, and plenty of new corporate events to be socially anxious at.
